Clean your oven racks in 3 simple steps
Oven racks are so awkward. But here’s a super-simple cleaning tip to make ‘em shine with minimal effort:
- Put 6-8 dryer sheets in the bottom of your tub or large wash basin, and place your oven racks on top of the dryer sheets
- Add hot water. The water should cover the racks by at least two inches. Optional: Add in ¼ cup of dishwashing liquid at this point.
- Soak for several hours or overnight. Use the dryer sheets to rub down the racks!
Pro-tip: If your racks are rusted, put them in a large garbage bag and use the same process so that rust doesn’t transfer to your tub
